Understanding the importance of workforce management is critical in a world that is seeing heightened depression, stress, and very poor mental health statistics.
It is incumbent on us also to be willing to talk about these things though, and not just expect someone to solve problems that they don't see.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, those in finance are the most stressed whilst Government workers and healthcare employees are close behind them. Professional services and those in the education sector and hospitaly workers made up the top five most stressed industries. Worryingly, over eight in 10 workers admit that stress at work has an impact on their wider life. The most commonly reported impact was sleep loss. Chieu Cao, CMO and Co-Founder at Perkbox explained that employers should always be interested in monitoring the stress levels of their staff. He said: “It is in employers’ interests to ensure that workers are not feeling overly stressed – and the data clearly shows that, in some industries, there is a more urgent need for bosses to take action than in others.
